Begin the clip from Start and end the Clip around 2:20
First, the students will watch the clip with no sound making note of the visual aspects like the colors used for both sides, what camera angles were chosen.
Then, they will watch the clip over with sound. They should make notes on how if they feel differently about the video with sound and why they think that? They can make points on how the different styles of music are used for the two sides, or how they are alike.
By this time the students should be already thinking of how the Pocahontas movie portrayal of European attitudes is similar or different to the historical passages they found.
